SSAGO Blog

Following the AGM, the national Exec decided to make sure their full annual reports were available to all the membership through our Exec blog!

• Email log introduced this year in order to ensure that emails are responded to and chased up where appropriate.

• Written minutes for Reps, Exec, AGM and Girlguiding meetings. Created a minutes template to use and will continue to use it this year.

• Ensured that club reps are up to date on the membership system, preparing questions for club reports, ensuring they are submitted (with the highest being 31 clubs) and responded to any questions from the reports.

• Sorted through the secretary folder back in the summer and found lots of old paperwork, which has since been digitised by Larah (Archivist) and uploaded to the website more recently.

• Moved to Glasgow part of the way through the year and have helped to spread the word of SSAGO in Scotland. Have set up a region in Scotland and had organised to meet up in Perth but is being rescheduled due to the snow. Helped Edinburgh and Dundee SSAGO get set up along with Anona (Membership Officer), meaning that there are now 3 clubs in Scotland! Supported Glasgow SSAGO and encouraged 4 to go to rally for the first time.

• Attended a Girlguiding meeting back in September in London with Josh.

• Attended both Gilwell Reunion and Wellies & Wristbands in order to promote SSAGO.

• Got re-elected at the AGM to continue on next year and looking forward to building on what I have learnt this year!
